Cambridge Satchel Company finally has vegan options

God knows I'm a sucker for a good satchel.

I've always wished the Cambridge Satchel Company did vegan versions of their bags. I went vegan in January and my leather goods have presented a problem.

I have spent some dollars on leather goods over the years. This includes my Dr Martins and also three Cambridge bags. These are not cheap items to be throwing away when I turned vegan because that is a waste of the item and also my money.

All I can do is have a think about where I spend my cash in the future.

But I do love Cambridge Satchels.

So I was thrilled to see these......well....thrilled and I recognised the signs of a spending spree coming on.

These are the new Melissa for Cambridge Satchel Company bags. The Brazilian brand is also responsible for those awesome Vivienne Westwood jelly shoes - of which I bought two as I love the smell of the jelly!! But I'm not alone as the bags are actually jelly scented which is why I seem to be drawn towards the smell!

So the bags are vegan.

This is because they are made from Melflex material which is 100% PVC. This also means the bag is recyclable and waterproof. I am a huge fan of the see through shiny one below. That is also the only one that seems to be sold out online.
