The lovely couple Monica and her husband Shannon Brown stopped by “106 & Park” on Monday. Rocking cargo pants from Kanye West’s clothing line, the R&B powerhouse spoke briefly about her latest album New Life. But the loyal mother of two was there to support her husband.
The Phoenix Suns star launched the Wood Star Music Festival to give back to his community. The three-day event, which benefits the Shannon Brown Foundation, will take place in Chicago from August 17-19.
“Now that sports is a part of my life and music is a part of his, let’s bring them both together,” said Monica, who will perform at the festival on August 17, along with Robin Thicke, Estelle, Fantasia, and Dawn Richard.
