Ariana Grande Scores 9th Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 With 'No Tears Left to Cry'

She also ties Lady Gaga & Rihanna with a sixth top 10 debut.

Ariana Grande lands her ninth top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated May 5), as "No Tears Left to Cry" launches at No. 3.

Following its first full week of tracking after its April 20 release, "Cry" debuts with 36.9 million U.S. streams and 100,000 downloads sold in the week ending April 26, according to Nielsen Music. It concurrently debuts at No. 5 on Streaming Songs and No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart, arriving as her third leader on the latter list. Notably, it's the first title to crack six digits in weekly sales in three months, since Drake's "God's Plan" bowed with 127,000 on Feb. 3.

"Tears" also drew 27 million in airplay audience in the week ending April 29, prompting a No. 35 entry on the Radio Songs chart.

The song is Grande's sixth top 10 debut on the Hot 100, which ties Lady Gaga and Rihanna for sixth place among all acts for the most such starts in the Hot 100's 59-year history. Taylor Swift holds the record for most top 10 debuts, with 14.
