US President Donald Trump and his wife, Melania Trump took a day off amid pressure from the crisis in Iran by attending the College Football Championship game between Louisiana and Clemson in New Orleans on Monday, January 13.
However, it seemed like tension didn't go far away from the couple as they sparked what people called "Hand-Gate."
In a video that circulated online, POTUS and the First Lady were seen walking out onto the field to stand at attention before the playing of the National Anthem.
Naturally, all eyes were on them so when Melania pulled her hand forcefully out of Donald's hand as he tried lacing his hand around her, it didn't go unnoticed by people.
"Melania hand snatch game is strong," one viewer commented at the matter.
"Not that I have any sympathy for her, but same, Melania. Same."
Another Twitter user chimed in, "Once again, Melania jerks her hand away from [Donald]," with someone else adding, "Always love when Morpheus Melania Trump does the Matrix holding hand pull away with Donald."
Echoing the clowning, a user wrote, "Wow. The withdrawing of her hand from his is in itself noticeable, but the look on her face and the deep breath -- double wow. Melania is not happy with the dotard."
However, some others believed that it was actually Donald who actually did the pulling away.
"Yo trump threw Melania's hand so hard. wth is wrong with him?" one pointed out.
"Looks like someone is a little stressed out about IMPEACHMENT this evening. Here's Trump flicking away the hand of Melania. What a cute couple… If you think 'angry dictator' is cute."
